Hello,

I’m representing a US company that is becoming active in Brazil !

I’m trying to emit a NFE in the Sandbox environment using the API to make sure that my payload is correct. I’m running a mobile app marketplace where registered sellers with CNPJ sell to individuals with CPF.

I have successfully created a test company from a friend in Brazil so with valid details, then registered the certificate, configured it (I think correctly) but when trying to create the NFE, I keep on getting: Rejeição: CNPJ Emitente não cadastrado

Not sure if it is appropriate to share code on the forum so let me know if I can do that to provide more info !

This message indicates that your friend’s company is not properly registered with the state government agency (SEFAZ), and therefore is not yet authorized to issue NFe (electronic invoices).

You need to contact the company’s tax accountant to complete this procedure.

Thank you very much, do you have test CNPJs or others that are valid in the sandbox environment to test or can I only use valid and real information ?

Hi Stefan, Sendbox or Production you need to have valid company data (CNPJ and I.E)

You should have real information and a valid digital certificate to be able to issue the NFe documents, even in sandbox environment.
